The benefits of working with me —
Because I’m also a photographer, I know how important it is to give your clients the best experience. I know how important beautifully shot and edited images are for your brand. I know how professional it looks to have consistently edited images that yield to a visually cohesive wedding gallery. I have a very high standard that I’ve set for my business and the quality of my services; I know you do too.
Having an editor that not only understands the photographer’s perspective but has dedicated time & energy to refining their editing skills is such a valuable asset to your business. I will work one-on-one with you to learn your exact preferences and edit in the way that you love. I only take on a handful of new clients at a time because I am 100% invested in learning your style and your brand’s aesthetic.
I want to give you more time to focus on taking stunning images for your clients while feeling confident that your galleries will be edited to your taste. I’m sincerely devoted to providing you with a wonderful experience when working with me. I want you to feel that I’m a loyal member of your team… and together, we’d work like a well oiled machine.
A list of my services:
My clients are fine art wedding photographers that fall into two categories: hybrid shooters that need me to match their digital images to their film scans, creating a consistent-looking wedding gallery for their clients; or digital shooters that need me to emulate the look of film for their images, giving a classic & timeless quality to their client’s wedding galleries.
Develop panel adjustments in Lightroom (cropping & straightening included)
3-5 business day turnaround for full wedding catalogs
Use of presets and/or profiles (if that’s a part of your editing process)
Simple drag & drop file exchange using WeTransfer
A virtual feedback system that ensures I learn your editing preferences quickly
A private photo editor specializing in film matching and film emulation (for both hybrid & digital photographers)
A photographer-turned-photo editor that has years of experience with shooting & editing, and understands the photography business
A sincerely dedicated member of your team that will ensure high quality, consistent-looking galleries every time
Why investing in a private photo editor is the way to go vs. a large editing company:
Because private photo editing is one-on-one, I’m able to really focus on learning your unique preferences and deliver higher quality edits.
You’d be creating a long-term professional relationship with one person that knows your editing style inside & out, creating consistency for your brand.
There will be open communication achieved through a simple yet effective virtual feedback system to ensure that I learn your style quickly.
You’d have more time to focus on other aspects of your business while feeling secure knowing that you have a trustworthy member on your team taking care of things, especially during those busy seasons.
With me, you’d be hiring an editor that’s a former professional photographer with years of experience editing in Lightroom, and someone that truly understands the importance of your images.
Above all, you’d have more time to spend with your loved ones, take care of yourself, and enjoy your life. Time is precious — spend it how you truly want.
The process of 0utsourcing:
I personally understand how daunting it may feel to outsource your precious work to be edited by someone else. I’ve made this process extremely simple, easy, and straightforward for you so that the transition into your new workflow is seamless. I guarantee that it’s best to let go of things sometimes, and I’ll prove that you can trust me to care for your images as if they were my own.
1. Become a client
After you fill out a client application form, you’ll be guided through the rest of the on-boarding process. I’ve made this smooth and easy so that you can begin outsourcing your images right away and immediately gain back precious time for your self, your loved ones, and other aspects of your business that are needing attention.
2. Reserve an editing time slot
I’ve set up an appointment-based system for you to schedule your catalogs to be edited. You’ll always have access to my online scheduler to book time slots for current and future wedding catalogs. My standard delivery turnaround time is 3-5 business days from your scheduled appointment date.
3. Send me your Lightroom files
I’ll send you a pdf that walks you through exactly how to export your LR catalog for editing. Once done, you’ll send the files over to me through a simple drag & drop uploading system. I'll then begin editing your images to your liking based off of a few reference images that you’ll provide (I’ll go over this with you more when we begin working together.)
4. Download your edited catalog
After I finish, I’ll send your edited catalog back to you using the same drag & drop system. You’ll be notified of this immediately by email. The pdf I previously sent also includes step-by-step instructions for importing your finished catalog back into Lightroom. Follow the instructions carefully, and enjoy your edited wedding gallery!
